Reading God’s Word: Acts 18:12-19:7, Psalm 90:1-9

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 90:4 A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night.

Memorizing God’s Word: 1 Peter 4:10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, my vision is so narrow and short-sighted compared to yours. I am so limited to only see what is here or now that it causes me to only enjoy temporary joy, or at other times feel like sadness lasts forever. But when I think about your eternal plans, I know that you have always been, and forever will be with me. I am thankful for how you have carried me through hard times to appreciate the times I am at peace. I rest on knowing that you will do so again and carry me through the trials. You know what you have in store for me, and I know that it is for good and your glory. Help me today to remember that and to see further ahead than the here and now. Amen.”
