Reading God’s Word: Luke 15:11-32, Psalm 50:19-23

Meditating on God’s Word: Luke 15:20 “…But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.”

Memorizing God’s Word: Luke 16:13 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, may we never forget about how far from you we were when you ran to us. You ran to me, you picked me up in your arms like I was a small child. It never felt so good to be held! When I could not even speak to apologize, you spoke over me with a thousand ‘I Love You’s.’ Would we remember this moment always. Help us to make it our motivation and mission for others to experience this undeserving love and forgiveness. Amen.”
