Memorizing God’s Word: Ephesians 3:16-18, I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.
Meditating on God’s Word: Ephesians 6:19, Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador.
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, we are ambassadors, representatives and children in the family of God! I am not always fearless in my witness, for sometimes I can be timid, sensitive and careful not to offend. If I am not fearless, then what exactly am I afraid of? Why do I hold back from sharing the most important thing in my life ~ You!? Why do I care so much about how someone will respond? I am not in prison as Paul was, but what are the chains in my life that hold me back? I need help to respect others with differing views, with my call to make known the mystery of the gospel as an ambassador. I pray for my church family as well. May we represent you fearlessly with our attitudes, words and behaviors! Amen.”
