Reading God’s Word: 1 Corinthians 15:20-50, Psalm 112:1-5
Meditating on God’s Word: 1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good character.
Memorizing God’s Word: 2 Corinthians 3:18 And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, peer pressure is often so strong – not just with children, but with adults. Yes, we are to go minister and serve the sinful and hurting people in the world, but your Word tells us to not forsake the assembling of ourselves together with other believers. We need to recharge our spiritual battery, so we will be able to influence our culture, and not be influenced by our culture. Help us to stay close to you, through your Word, through prayer, and through fellowship with other believers. Amen.”
