Reading God’s Word: Luke 13:6-30, Psalm 49:12-20
Memorizing God’s Word: Luke 16:13 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”
Meditating on God’s Word: Luke 13:26-27 Then you will say, ‘We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’ “But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!’
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, soften my heart and make it pliable and sensitive to you Jesus. So often I think that just because I am near you I am really transformed by you. I’ve been to a hospital, that doesn’t make me a doctor, I’ve been on a construction site, that doesn’t make me a skilled craftsman, I’ve been to a school, that doesn’t make me a teacher, but I’ve also been to church, and that doesn’t make me a Christian. I don’t want to just be near you, I surrender to you Jesus. Transform me to be like you. Root out my pride and ignorance. I surrender to you Jesus. Amen.”
