Reading God’s Word: Hebrews 1:1-2:13, Psalm 132:1-10
Meditating on God’s Word: Hebrews 1:6 And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God’s angels worship him.”
Memorizing God’s Word: Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Praying God’s Word: “Father, I marvel today at how wonderful your son Jesus is. Because you have brought him close to me in relationship, a Jesus I can know, I sometimes forget how amazing and how marvelous he is. The angel’s worship him and so do I. Today Father, help me to remember that even though Jesus humbled himself as a man so that I may know him and you better, that he is also the Second Person of the Trinity and worthy of wonder, praise and my worship today. He is my friend and Lord and Savior! Amen.”
