Reading God’s Word: Luke 12:13-40, Psalm 48:1-14
Memorizing God’s Word: Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Meditating on God’s Word: Luke 12:25-26 “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?”
Praying God’s Word: “Heavenly Father, if they gave a gold medal for worrying I would win every time. I worry about everything in my life. Why? How does this help me? Simply put it does nothing but paralyze me. I am a child of God. You are my Father and You will always provide for me. Holy Spirit help me to believe the truth that I read today and to trust in my Father’s provision. I want my mind to focus on You and not worrying about anything I can’t control. Even today, Good Friday, is a reminder that you are in control. What looked like a dead end turned out to be the path of life. Amen.”
