Reading God’s Word: Hebrews 5:10-6:20, Psalm 134:1-3
Meditating on God’s Word: Hebrews 6:19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain
Memorizing God’s Word: Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, thank you for hope. Plainly, hope is what so many of us need and need constantly reminded of. Hope that our current hurt won’t last forever. Hope that the bonds that currently trap us will be broken. Hope of a better future. Hope for our children. Hope for our lost friends and family. And Lord that true Hope only comes from a place of knowing you, and the Hope eternal that we have been given through Jesus. Help me to remember that today. Help me to fix my eyes on that hope, because everything in this world is secondary and temporary. When I focus on you, you have proven again and again to provide hope for my immediate circumstances. Lord, thank you for reminding me today that my hope is in you! Amen.”
