Reading God’s Word: 1 Corinthians 16:19 – 2 Corinthians 1:24, Psalm 113:1-9
Meditating on God’s Word: 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”
Memorizing God’s Word: Psalm 119:9-11 How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, you are the Father of compassion, the source of compassion and the God of all comfort. Thank you for your compassion and care. Help us to remember that like everything you give us, you don’t give to us so we can keep it to ourselves, but so that we can give it to others: grace, compassion, comfort, mercy, resources, money, help, care, love, etc. Freely we have received, now may we freely give. Amen.”
