Reading God’s Word: Luke 13:6-30, Psalm 49:12-20

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 49:15 “But God will redeem me from the realm of the dead; he will surely take me to himself.”

Memorizing God’s Word: Hebrews 12:1-2 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,  fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, your word is truth. It is full of blessings, promises, warnings, and commands. I am so thankful for the powerful promise of you redeeming those who are yours! Even though I am a sinner and deserve death, the life, death, and resurrection of Christ offers redemption to those who rely and trust in Him. I look forward with anticipation to the day when you take me home to be with you! Amen.”
